Privacy
Your privacy
Kinstow is a private record, so privacy isn't something we bolt on at the end. It's the whole point. Here, in plain English, is what we collect while the site is a pre-launch waiting list, and what we do with it.
Who is responsible
Kinstow Limited is the data controller. Our company number is , and our registered office is . If you have any question about your data, email and a person will reply.
What we collect
Right now the site does very little, so there is very little to collect:
- Your email address, when you choose to join the early access list.
- Which version of the page you saw. We are testing two, and this tells us which one explains Kinstow better.
- Anonymous, cookieless analytics through Plausible: how many people visit and which pages they read, with no personal profile and no tracking across other sites.
We set one small functional cookie that remembers which version of the page you saw, so you get the same one next time. There are no advertising cookies, and nothing that follows you around the web.
Why we collect it
For two narrow reasons. To send you early access updates about Kinstow, because you asked us to, with your consent. And to understand which version of the page works better. That is all. We will not use your email for anything you did not sign up for.
Who helps us handle it
We keep our list of suppliers short, and we name them plainly:
- Formspark handles the sign-up form.
- Plausible Analytics gives us privacy-friendly analytics, hosted in the EU.
- Cloudflare hosts the site.
Each one does only the job above, and nothing more.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until we launch, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. You can unsubscribe in one click from any email we send, or by emailing , and we will remove you.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR) you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Email and we will sort it out. If you are ever unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
We do not sell your data
We have never sold or shared an email address for marketing, and we never will.
Our registration
Kinstow Limited is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under reference .
If this changes
While Kinstow is in development, some of these details may change. If they do, we will update this page and the date below, rather than quietly alter anything.
